Scott Ambler Enterprise Agile Coach, Senior Consulting Partner

Scott W. Ambler is the Senior Consulting Partner of Scott Ambler + Associates. Scott works with organizations around the world to help them to improve the way that they work and organize themselves. He provides training, coaching, and mentoring in disciplined agile and lean strategies at both the team and organizational level. Scott is the founder of the Agile Modeling (AM), Agile Data (AD), and Enterprise Unified Process (EUP) methodologies and co-founder with Mark Lines of the Disciplined Agile (DA) Framework. He is the (co-)author of several books, including Disciplined Agile Delivery, Refactoring Databases, Agile Modeling, and Agile Database Techniques. Mark Lines Enterprise Agile Coach, Managing Partner

Mark Lines is Managing Partner at Scott Ambler + Associates. He is an Agile Coach and co-creator of the Disciplined Agile framework. Mark is co-author with Scott Ambler of Disciplined Agile Delivery: A Practitioner’s Guide to Agile Software Delivery in the Enterprise. Mark is a “disciplined” agile coach, helping organizations all over the world transform from traditional to agile methods. Glen Little Principal

Glen is a Principal of Scott Ambler + Associates. He is a thirty-year plus software industry veteran who has spent his career building and leading Iterative and Agile development teams; both teams that were co-located and teams spread across the globe. Glen has worked beside thought-leaders in the industry including the likes of Dave Thomas, Brian Barry, Ivar Jacobson in the early 80’s, and later Ward Cunningham, contributing to the development of effective Iterative development methodologies. A results-oriented, skilled professional with proven success, Glen continues to collaborate with clients to formulate innovate solutions to problems, and facilitate overall project and corporate success.

Rod Bray Senior Consultant

With 35+ Years in the IT Industry, Rod has extensive success implementing enterprise software projects in a wide variety of domains. He has built and led Iterative and Agile cross-functional, self-organizing teams – both co-located and geographically dispersed – for complex software projects. Rod has been a Trainer, Mentor, Facilitator and Coach for teams interested in improving their processes to deliver solutions more effectively. Rod has been in the trenches. He has filled the roles of Senior Developer, Team Lead, Architect, Trainer, Project Manager and IT Manager during more than three decades of successful Design, Construction and Implementation of enterprise systems. He has technical expertise in object-oriented analysis and design, polyglot programming and a wide range of modeling techniques. Rod’s expertise in Management and Process comes from his deep experience with: Project Management; Process Reengineering; Team Development – all in the context of Iterative, Agile and Lean methodologies.

Bjorn Gustafsson Senior Consultant

Bjorn is a technical leader with extensive experience in helping agile software teams becoming comfortable and effective with their new ways of working. A software engineer with over 25 years of software industry experience, he has helped teams and organizations in their process transformation through coaching, mentoring and training. With vast experience of the core software engineering areas, including software architecture, OOA/D with UML, Java development, requirements management (use cases and user stories), TDD, ATDD, and project management, he works hands-on with teams to give them their best learning experience. Besides his focus on software process improvement Bjorn is still actively developing Java software.

Klaus Boedker Senior Consultant

Klaus is a Disciplined Agile coach with 10+ years enabling organizations to respond to change and market demand in a more timely and meaningful manner. His passions include agile principles, innovation, and leadership; and how the three combine to deliver best-in-class products early and often that delight customers.

D. Paul Sims Senior Coach

Paul’s formative years as an agile coach began in late 2007, when he attended the first Disciplined Agile Development workshop delivered to IBM Software Group employees in Canada. His enthusiasm for this new approach to software delivery resulted in Paul becoming a workshop facilitator in Canada and the United States, where he delivered workshops to over 15 IBM development teams in Ottawa, San Jose, Toronto, and Victoria. Paul coached the IBM WebSphere Commerce development team of 250 people, distributed across four sites and 12 time zones, until he retired from IBM in 2014. He now coaches delivery teams at companies that engage SA + A to help them successfully adapt the Disciplined Agile Delivery process decision framework. Paul immerses himself in these teams and asks powerful questions to help team members discover their unique path to high performance.
